We, unfortunately, have had multiple hospital visits as a result of my wife S's emergency colostomy. The most recent was due to severe abdominal pain. Of all the nurses we have been involved with over the past 2 months, Jodie excels. Not only was she caring, but she took the time to look for alternate approaches to help S, while spending a lot of time describing things to us and answering my plethora of technical questions. Her deep knowledge and concern really helped and allowed us to leave the hospital with me knowing how to better care for S and how to prevent a recurrence of the issue. Seeing S getting relief from her pain and moving toward recovery was a gift, and Jodie really made that happen.
