Jonathan is extraordinary in that he is compassionate, prompt and dedicated. Once he helped a patient who was in a lot of distress. The patient was confused and his reality at 2am in the morning was that he needed to get ready to go to work. After a great amount of patience and attempts to meet the patient's needs, Jonathan decided to respect the patient’s reality and assist the patient to get ready for work. Jonathan assisted and supervised the patient in bathing and getting ready and dressed. The patient then got in his wheelchair and Jonathan brought him out to the nurses’ station. The patient calmed down as he sat with staff at the nurses’ station. This was not a small act. Jonathan was kind, a team player and showed a great deal of leadership. Way to go!! Way to show that we are always rising!! Jonathan has shown many acts of going above and beyond. This is a recent example that stood out.
