Nurse Joseph Lawrence Agapito took care of my mom I would say the largest percentage of the time she was in room 430. He made sure my mom had everything, was comfortable and took his time with her. He showed patience, understanding, sympathy and empathy, relating stories about his grandfather to add a little humor when it was needed in the room. Nothing was beneath his level, and he even helped my mom with washing her face and brushing her teeth. Sometimes he would come in just to check on her. He could have passed those tasks to others, but he did not. He really showed that he meaningfully cared for my mom, which was very touching to me. And he even consoled me and my brother when some news was a little too much to bear. Unfortunately, my mom doesn't have much longer to live, but I appreciate nurse Joseph for taking care of her. He will and I'm sure does wonders to those patients that have a path to healing. His bedside manners will make them feel like hope still exists. Thank you so much and May God bless Joseph.
