Nurse Jovy went above and beyond for my mother, who was anxious to be in the hospital again after multiple stays this month. Every nurse we’ve had while at Kaiser has been great, but Jovy was exceptional. From the moment she enters the room, she brightens everyone’s spirits with her infectious smile and optimism. Aside from her cheery disposition and wonderful bedside manner, she has a reassuring and calming effect on patients and family visitors like myself. My mom suffered from a stroke, and it has greatly affected her attitude and memory. No matter how many times she repeated requests to Nurse Jovy, she reassured her that everything would be okay and that she’d help with whatever she needed.
