Judy went above and beyond on trying to make R the most comfortable he could be with his newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetes. He's 2 ½ and just being in this environment made him anxious. Getting his vitals checked, along with glucose and his insulin shots left him crying for fear of what was to come next. We were fortunate to get Judy both nights, not only answering any and all of our questions (we had so many) thoroughly, but spending time with R during vitals or insulin shots to calm him down after. He's attached to his Mickey Mouse doll so she would blood pressure cuff the toy along with R and even take Mickey's temp! This made a world of difference in his eyes! Thank you, thank you. One time he cried 10 mins straight and she even allowed him to feed her dogs on her phone which later that night had R asking me, "Mama where is Judy?" "Mama can Judy come back?" "Can I go with Judy?". Hearing this from my shy 2 year old son made me realize how much of a beautiful affect she had on him. He felt and saw the care and compassion from Judy, just like we did. Thank you for your excellence of care towards our son at such a difficult time in our lives.
