During my Father’s recent stay, he didn’t want to take his pain meds in order to appear stronger and ready for discharge. Julie managed to preserve his pride and dignity and explained to him why he needed his pain medication. When speaking with him, Julie was truly engaged in what he was saying, and established a relationship my father trusted.
