“Last week in our unit a float accidentally threw away a specialty nipple for a baby needing thickened oral feedings. Julie overheard that this baby would have to gavage all feedings until feeding/swallowing could bring replacements in the morning. Julie went after her shift to the store to buy extra specialty nipples so the baby could eat. This baby wasn’t even her patient! Julie is always going above & beyond for her patients and their families. Julie’s patience and true caring spirit inspires me to be a better nurse. I am so proud to be called her co-worker.”
