Even under stressful or demanding circumstances, Julie continues to shine as an example of how to provide exceptional patient care as well as the value of teamwork.
Julie was nominated by seven of her colleagues. Some of their comments include, “Julie goes above and beyond at her job. She has taken her time to reorganize all our internal and specialty clinics and maintain a warm empathetic energy. She has impacted my life to always strive to do my best. I am so grateful for her in my life, I really feel that she is a great role model as well as supervisor. I normally don't take the time to write these kinds of things, but I truly feel that she deserves recognition for touching many lives - including the staff. I am so grateful for her.” From another colleague, “Since the beginning of the pandemic, she has taken the lead in assuring that everyone in the clinic, including our patients, are safe. Even in the beginning, when supplies were short, she always made sure the clinic staff had everything they needed to protect themselves. She is a stickler for safety and makes no exceptions. Given that I am immune-compromised, I am particularly grateful to her for this. Even under stressful or demanding circumstances, she continues to shine as an example of how to provide exceptional patient care as well as the value of teamwork.” From another, “Julie is admirable in many ways, especially in her great work ethic and organizational skills! She is always kind, caring, and compassionate to patients and staff. I am grateful to work with such an amazing person and friend.” Shares another colleague, “For her exceptional leadership, direction, accountability, creating a workflow that allows the medical assistant to be more productive…this increases communication between the Doctors, patients and me, personally. [She is also responsible for] developing team unity.” …and summing it up from other colleagues, “She is amazing – please give her some credit for her hard work,” and “Please give recognition to one of the hardest working nurses I know!!”
