June took the time to make sure we knew how to dress our daughter's wound. Every time we asked for training, she would come and explain again with infinite patience. In our case, my daughter's stitches fell out! The doctors were stumped as to what to do; there could be no surgical fix. June proposed a creative solution with tape and padding that held the wound closed. Seeing the fix, the doctors became more optimistic that my six month old baby may not need a second surgery to fix the wound. June's creativity gave us a chance and hope. She found a possibility for success when none others existed.
