In a word Kacie Allen is amazing. She is a shining example of nursing and leadership excellence. Kacie demonstrates her exceptional nursing skills on a daily basis. She shows caring and compassion for our patients, staff, and physicians. She is well organized. Kacie demonstrates calm in a sea of chaos. She is unflappable whether she is teaching a group of brand new staff or running the front desk with multiple crashes. Kacie regularly shows her adaptability by stepping in to help with anything and everything from mentoring a new staff member, to cleaning a room, to taking over as charge when needed. She exhibits great physical and mental endurance by taking extra calls, working overtime, and coming in extra to help train staff on top of her fulltime educator position. She is a quick thinker and an outstanding communicator. She is extremely hard working. No matter the situation Kacie always steps up to meet the challenge. One of the best things about Kacie is her kindness. She always has a smile to share. Her positive attitude is infectious and she is just pleasant to be around!

Kacie Allen has been with HMC for several years now, but in the last year she has taken on the role of Education in our department. She is truly amazing at her job. She inspires new and experienced staff members in their practice. Everyday she comes in with a fresh and positive attitude ready to support the best patient care. She is thoughtful, calm in stressful situations and a true professional. Staff continuously recognize her for what she has brought to this role and department. I continue to hear how approachable she is. Kacie has developed a robust in-service program, catering to the staff requests and ideas. As well as juggle all incoming new hires and support our Peri-op 101 program. I think she is a phenomenal RN and HMC is lucky to have her.
