After 14 hours in labor and a night where I had 6 different nurses assigned to my room, I was on the verge of a breakdown. At 7:00 am, Kadina came in to introduce herself. I knew immediately that I was in safe hands. Kadina was there for me every minute as my labor continued for the next 12 hours.
After my epidural, the baby's heart rate dropped drastically and Kadina was right there turning me side to side, turning off my Pitocin and giving me oxygen. I was okay because of her!
I was 9cm dilated (because of expertise and personal attention from Kadina) I pushed every 2-3 minutes for the next 4.5 hours. Kadina stayed after her shift ended at 7 pm to be with me and my daughter was born at 7:29 pm without a C-section.
I owe it all to Kadina!
