Kaitlin has a growth mindset and is diligent about improving patient care and ensuring quality care is administered. Kaitlin has worked on the 8th floor since it opened two years ago. She has received many kudos from patients and family members. Kaitlin provides excellent care to all of her patients and shows kindness and compassion while doing it.

Kaitlin not only cares enormously for her patients, but she is also a fabulous teammate. As a charge nurse and preceptor, Kaitlin is one of the most approachable and trusted nurses on the 8th floor. She is a critical thinker, a problem solver, and her patients absolutely love her. Coming into the Educator position, I knew from day one I could count on Kaitlin to guide not only new hires, but me as well. I look up to her as a nurse, a leader, and a friend. I would be honored to have Kaitlin as my nurse or to have her care for my loved one any day.

Kaitlin selflessly gives her all to every patient that crosses her path. She takes ownership of problems even when they weren't hers to begin with, and works steadily to find a solution. She is always willing to help, and always ready to learn. Kaitlin's leadership skills, excellent clinical judgment, and a great sense of humor make her SUCH an asset to our team. Kaitlin exemplifies the qualities of a true leader and teammate. She handles her responsibilities as Charge Nurse with ease and she goes above and beyond to assist her whole crew. She is trusted by the Trauma Providers and serves as a voice for all that pass through our doors. She notices the small details with her patients and reports issues before they grow into problems. She suggests interventions that lead to better outcomes. And she has remained steadfast from the very opening of the 8th floor through the difficulties associated with COVID-19. I'm proud to be on her team and to call her a friend!
