Kaitlin cared for a fetal demise and the family wanted to ensure she was recognized for her terrific care. They couldn't stop talking about her and how no one could've taken better care of them. She was understanding, empathetic, and responded to their every need in advance. She empathized with their pain and spent that extra "quality" time they needed. Kaitlin is intelligent, consistent, and works well with anyone; her knowledge and nursing skills make her a great nurse - a nurse that any of us would want taking care of us. Her healing presence has helped this family begin their healing process.

On the worst night of our lives, you were with us when we learned we wouldn't be bringing our baby home. It was so painful and still is, but we want you to know what you mean to us. You were there when we cried, and you cried with us. You comforted us and took amazing care of us, physically and emotionally. We can't imagine how you could be so caring. The little things you did weren't little to us, they were everything. And the big things, helping while we were so scared and helpless, we are grateful for. Most important was the way you cared for our baby. You were so gentle and so loving, helping us in the earliest, most brutal moments of grief. We tell people that we were lucky you were our nurse. You were the absolute perfect person to be with us in such a heartbreaking time, and we will never be able to truly thank you for being the kind, gentle, wonderful person you are. Thank you.
