This nurse did everything she could to make my daughter feel more comfortable here. She is only 9 months, she can't know what she was doing to make her more comfortable because she is recovering from a head injury, but I have seen and I will always remember. Kaitlyn got my daughter a radio and played a CD on it that had beautiful music to keep her relaxed and help her sleep. She saw my daughter's IVs were really making her uncomfortable and she was moving around a lot because of them. She took one out and put one somewhere different so she could feel more comfortable and got her a "no-no" for her other arm to make sure when she moved she didn't move the IV. She got my daughter some toys to hold in her hand just to give her something to hold on to, to keep her more relaxed. She made my daughter a beautiful banner with her name on it. I appreciate it so very much that someone would take the time to do that for my daughter. She has kept my daughter's positioning to what keeps her most comfortable. By far she has been my favorite nurse who has been taking care of my daughter; she is very gentle with her anytime she checks her or moves her, she keeps a close eye on my daughter and is very observant about what she does and how she reacts. She always answers any question I have, and she keeps me updated on everything she is going to do before she does it. She is very helpful with everything. She has been caring by asking me if I may need something too, to make sure I am also taken care of and making sure I know where stuff is here if I may need anything. She is a very great person honestly, I think inside her job and outside. She seems to care about her patients and is really good at her job. I will never forget how well my daughter was taken care of here. Thank you.
