It may seem redundant, but it is factually correct that Ms. Barnes exemplifies each of the descriptive core values. My family and I were so appreciative of and touched by her seemingly personalized physical and emotional support that we tried to offer her some material item (plant, socks, food, etc.) to show our gratitude. However, Kali was visibly offended and kept saying, “This is my profession (It’s not just a job)!!! I dreamt of doing this since I was in Middle school ). We were soooo impressed by her passionate dedication to my well being and healing! Had I had a complaint (or, negative interaction) during my stay, I would have been focused on immediate retribution. How could I not put that same energy into bringing to your attention the consistent positive interactions that occurred because of Kali’s attitude and actions on my behalf?

Two crisis flare-ups occurred because I am in stage 4 of my COPD disease. I did not require any Atavan or other pharmaceutical intervention because Kali and my Respiratory Therapist began to relieve my anxiety through their physical presence and calming assurances that I (with their assistance) could survive these episodes. Amazing!!! I may forget that my glasses are on top of my head but, I will never forget the type of professional, heartwarming support provided by a team member of your organization: Kali Barnes is an exceptional caregiver who should be sent to Staples to be reproduced over and over and sent to SOME of Delaware’s multiple senior care facilities to ‘model’ what elderly patients should be entitled to expect and receive!!!! Kudos to whoever trained her, and Kudos to her for putting all that Theory into practical application!!!
