From the time Kallie came in to be my son's nurse for the time we were there, she made sure we had everything we needed and even some things my son wanted. As he started to feel better he wanted to go and play but because he was on restriction, Kallie asked him if there was anything she could go and find for him to play with while in the room. If you have every met my son, he will tell you exactly what he wants and not much short of that. While I did not think she would come back with much other than a coloring book, we soon had two of the three games he asked for and an activities booklet just like he described. Kallie always made sure any question or concern I had was answered or found our doctor who could answer the question if she could not. We were not at Children's very long, but out of the 3 nurses we did have, Kallie stood out to me the most. Always kind, show of care about my son, offering to give us options to make our time there the best it possibly could have been. Thank you again very much!!
