When I had my first baby at NCH Birthplace I didn’t have a great experience. This time with my second baby, Karen was my day shift nurse, and with her, I had the best experience. Finding someone who cares for you so much is not easy. Karen made my stay at NCH birthplace exceptional. My second son is fully breastfeeding because Karen gave me the technique and the proper way to latch him. Karen gave me the information to start this beautiful journey. When my son was crying she was always there to help and also give me tips to help him calm down. I love how she respected our decisions. She gets to know us so she can provide the best care for me and my son. Finding an amazing nurse like Karen made me recommend NCH birthplace to anyone that needs a trusting place to have their bundle of joy
