Karen went above and beyond to take care of us, especially my wife. She advocated to get my wife a second epidural, she knew the techniques to help her dilatation process and spent time with us with this process. Most importantly, my wife had to a have magnesium drip and our baby girl had to go to the NICU. Karen made sure my wife was able to see our baby girl. She wheeled her on a gurney to the NICU the night of the delivery and the next evening after my wife was away from our baby girl for 24 hours. No other nurses offered to get her to the NICU. Karen knew how important it was for us to be with our baby girl! Karen will always have a special place in my heart for that!
