She made sure to explain everything so that I would understand. She was very social when my other children came to visit.
Amanda was the 1st nurse we had after being brought to our room. We had been in the ER room for almost 2 days and I was very exhausted and frustrated with the care received there. Amanda was patient and understanding. She treated the importance of my daughter's care as if it were her own child. She made me feel that this was her passion and not just a job. She was very attentive to her needs as well as empathetic to mine. She made sure to go into full detail to the night nurse about our previous experience downstairs so that it would not even come close to happening again. When Amanda returned to work two days later, she stopped by our room every day to see how we were doing. Amanda went above and beyond and I will never forget her or the care she provided!
Kari was my daughter's nurse on days 2 and 3. She was very attentive. She made sure to explain everything so that I would understand. She was very social when my other children came to visit. When my daughter continued to vomit I could tell that she was critically thinking of the possible cause and solution. Kari was amazing.
Ashley was my daughter's nurse on day 2, along with Kari. She was simply amazing! She insisted that I sit down and that I let them do the things that I was used to doing at home (bathing, diaper changing, etc...). It was just natural for me to jump up and do what was needed but she was like "No, sit down and rest, we've got this". She came into the room at the end of her shift to tell me that she thinks I am a great mother. I told her I felt the same for her as a nurse. It was very sentimental and we almost shed tears. These nurses gave me peace of mind during my daughter's stay, and I truly appreciate them all!
