Karoline provided much care where my anxiety was quelled, allowing me to focus on my well-being and that of my baby.
As a first-time mother, I am honored to nominate Karoline, RN & lactation specialist, for the DAISY Award, as she has been exemplary in providing the utmost, thoughtful, and helpful care that has led me to have an amazing experience in the aftercare of my first child here at Vallejo Kaiser. As someone who is diagnosed with anxiety and has had various anxious moments, I could only imagine what an anxious experience this would’ve been, but thanks to Karoline, this was almost entirely avoided.

Karoline provided much care where my anxiety was quelled, allowing me to focus on my well-being and that of my baby. Within hours after my child’s birth, I was drained and asleep, but Karoline provided her calling number, reassuring my family that once I was awake, she would be readily available.

Upon my waking, she made herself present to provide information to answer any of my questions and wasted no time creating a caring and welcoming atmosphere for my family and me. Throughout her care, she made various visits and provided us with knowledge and advice regarding my and my baby’s well-being. Her kind words are words only an observant and caring nurse can make. It is as if she was reading our minds and clearing any of our questions and concerns before we can ask. Within the days of feeding, she provided various ways to feed that didn’t hurt me or my child. Overall, she was highly attentive, observant, and caring, and I nominate her for a DAISY Award for her immense care and effort.
