My mother was brought to McKee Medical Center after suffering a brain aneurysm. After being told she would not regain consciousness we were transferred to the second floor. All the nurses that night was great, but Kasey stood out. She comforted my husband and showed great empathy. She took time to listen and ask several times what we needed. She even shed a tear and shared with us a similar event that had happened in her life.
Kasey somehow turned this tragic event into something much more tolerable thoroughly through compassion, love, and a true family-like spirit not often found in medical center staff. She prayed with us and was there for us when we needed someone the most. Kasey even came in the next day on her day off to check on Mom and most importantly my family, to ensure we were ok.
