Kate was nominated for the DAISY Award by three separate families.
Family 1: “We loved Kate! My husband is a stage 4 cancer patient here to have an ostomy reversed. We have been in hospitals a ton and I’m a nurse so we know exceptional nurses when we see them! She went way above and beyond her normal job parameters! It makes being in the hospital so much easier, thank you!”
Family 2 (Patient): “She sat with me and goes and gets me stuff! She helped my wife who has been here for 9 days with me. She helped our family, she goes out of her way to do things for us that are not in her job duties.”
(Patient and husband): “Kate is really good. She is very nice and answers all of our questions. She comes back in to talk to us if we need her. She shows us everything and tells us what it is for. She always asks if we need anything. She goes out of her way to do things for us.”
