During my recent stay, I experienced a very rough delivery and arrived in immense pain, despair, and distress. Kathryn was my day nurse on Friday and Saturday, and her extraordinary care was nothing short of lifesaving and spirit-lifting. Her dedication to her patients is remarkable. She was meticulous in ensuring I received my medications on time and understood the importance of one particular medication to me.

Even when she was busy admitting another patient, she took the extra step to find another nurse to assist me, demonstrating her commitment to my well-being. Her attention to detail and communication with the night nurse was impeccable, ensuring that I was taken care of in every way possible which brought me great peace of mind. Beyond her medical duties she went out of her way to remove trash and maintain the cleanliness of my room showing her care for my comfort.

One particularly harrowing moment was when I experienced a severe breathing episode. Kathryn was right there coordinating with the providers to ensure I received prompt testing and care. Her presence and comforting support during this time were invaluable to me. Despite her packed shift, she even made time to help me walk when I expressed the desire to get up and move. She walked with me, providing encouragement and showing true kindness.
