It's because of Kathy's passion for the job and her unselfish dedication to the betterment of her patient's care that makes her a true DAISY Nurse.
I can best explain this by sharing a story from one day in the ER. A patient whom Kathy and I got to know through the years was very critical and was refusing to go to the Cath Lab because he just lost his wife. Kathy sat and listened to this patient, eventually convincing him to allow for the procedure. We went to visit him the next day in ICU and he was very appreciative to Kathy for the special care she gave him.
