Kathy was the first person I met at the Banner Casa Grande Wound Center. I had just been released from the hospital after a traumatic experience and I was very worried about having to go back. I was leery about the nursing care I might receive at Banner Casa Grande Medical Center, so when I met Kathy I was nervous, withdrawn, negative, and apprehensive. Kathy acted as if I was normal as if nothing was amiss, she had a positive attitude, she did not create a problem nor did she feed into my problem. Instead, she somehow went about defusing my apprehension by being positive, relaxed, efficient and providing excellent personalized care. She made me feel like I was the only patient she had and that she was going to spend whatever time needed to make me comfortable. Not only that, but she also informed me about my health issues (care of the wounds) and made me very comfortable with them, a major feat!
