Kayla Bullard is a very hard worker and takes excellent care of her patients. Today she received a radio report of a patient with stroke-like symptoms. Not one to "pass the buck", she immediately began preparing to receive the patient. By the time the patient arrived, she had everything prepared and ready to go. She personally took the patient to CT and activated AR saves. She is already recognized as an Arkansas Saves champion and has always done a great job with stroke patients in the past. In this case, the patient received TPA in less than 40 minutes and had a positive outcome due to her initiative and diligence. She is an excellent teammate and a very valuable member of our department.
