I would like to say a very big thank you to Kay for her care whilst looking after me numerous times.
Kay is a lovely nurse who always has a smile on her face, she's very thorough and nothing is ever too much trouble. Kay made a meaningful difference to my care back in January.
I had sepsis and was very unwell. Kay came on shift and sorted me out, getting me rapid treatment. I was very anxious, and Kay stayed with me all day! I feel that Kay really made a big difference to my care that day, thank you, Kay!
Kay is such a lovely nurse and I always smile when I see her come on shift. So today, I have had tears in my eyes. The compassion and care and dignity that Kay gave to an elderly lady who needed TLC.
Kay sat with the lady for a while, talking to her, holding her hand, comforting her. Kay said she wanted to make sure the lady didn't pass away on her own. Kay, a very big thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made me smile, you made me feel very lucky that Level 1 has the most caring, compassionate nurses. Today you made a difference, not just to the lovely lady you sat with until the end, because of your kindness. You have just proved that nurses are not robots, you have shown me that there are truly amazing nurses.
