Mr. Bee is a very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate nurse. The best thing is how truly dedicated, caring and compassionate he is. His professionalism and dedication make him an amazing role model who is unsurpassed by anyone's standard. He cared about his patients and co-workers.
One example of satisfied patient and Family is one of my patients came from OR after the surgery. The patient and their family were very upset about the long surgery and I was trying to explain the reason about keeping him longer. But he didn't want to listen to me and he wanted to go against medical advice and he was trying to get out of the bed. Mr. Bee came and talked to the patient and family. He spent almost one hour with them even though he had his own patient. I was trying to get the doctor to come and talk to him, but they were busy in OR. I was surprised by how the patient and his family became so calm after talking to him. The patient and family waited until he was fully recovered from anesthesia and discharged him home. The patient and family were very happy and thankful. That is how he is, he will always come and help.
I am so happy that I have a co-worker in my shift like him. He walks around the unit and makes sure the unit is clean and tidy. He also turns off all the monitors and the lights before we close the unit. He always says "we are here to give our veterans the best care" and he shows this in his work.
