I am a CNA on BHU. One morning I was on a 1:1 with a down syndrome adult male. He had not slept in a few days and of course, couldn't understand why he was here. He didn't know what this place was or who we were. Keith came into the room that morning to give the patient his medication and the patient was upset.
Keith began singing hymn songs in such a soothing calm voice that the patient soon fell fast asleep. Keith waited awhile, got the patient situated and comfortable and tucked him in. It was a shining moment, especially on BHU, to say the least.
Working with Keith reminds me there are still good people in the world who do care and make a difference and working with him makes me want to do better myself.
This is not the first time Keith has done this kind of gesture. He is always positive, and willing to help no matter what the case may be, thank you, Keith, for all you do!
