I have had gastroparesis for the last 6 years and each of those years I have averaged spending about 1 month admitted in the hospital. I have seen and had so many nurses care for me in that time.
Kelly Hilcove stands head and shoulders above the rest. She is the best nurse I have ever had. She is the standard and what every new nurse should aspire to be. Stating just 1 example or experience with Kelly would not do her justice. She really shines in every interaction. Her bedside manner is so compassionate. She has a way of making you feel like you are her most important patient and that nothing else matters except what she is doing for you at the moment.
Kelly is fast to respond to a call light and doesn't move it to the aide to answer if she is available. Kelly is extremely competent in her working; she sees to the little details that others often miss. She is always attentive, and her sweet demeanor and compassion can be seen by all. She is so genuine letting you know she really cares about her patients. She shines and exemplifies everything HonorHealth strives to be. I will never forget Kelly!
