Kelly was nominated for providing exceptional care to young parents in the Birthing Center who unfortunately lost their child. During this very difficult time, the grieving parents described Kelly as “phenomenal, caring, and understanding.” Along with creating a memory box for the family, this mom stated, “Kelly sat with me, talked with me, hugged me, and listened to me. I can honestly say that I do not know how I would have gotten through this experience without her during the worst moment of my life. She carried me through my entire hospital time. I am forever grateful for everything she did for my family”.
