Kelsey not only works hard, she's the whole package. Kind, caring, knows her job. She takes extra time to make you feel you're in a good place.
I couldn't believe how special Kelsy is. First of all, I had extreme pain after surgery. She was extremely knowledgeable. Very welcoming. Made me feel safe and secure in her ability. She was efficient, and it was great. Took time with me. I had packing in a large wound. She never blinked and had to show me she was really an all-around nurse. I have been in other hospitals before. Many nurses but never one like Kelsy. If there was a way to clone her you'd be crazy if you didn't. But really, she deserves a pat on the back. She works long shifts, and you'd never know it. She is just as she comes in the morning as she leaves at night. I hope this gives you a little perspective on Kelsy.

Bottom line, I am bipolar, and I have social anxiety. I find it hard to be in here after surgery, but even with massive pain and getting it under control, Kelsey made it a safe, caring experience for me, which I extremely appreciate. I have had several major surgeries at a few hospitals. But by far, Kelsey stands out. Spent time explaining things so I could understand. She never acted in a hurry, or it bothered her. She treated me just like everyone else instead of saying that I knew nothing and that I was imagining things because I was a psych patient. Many say that I have been on the right meds for 21 yrs that work. I still get that, but not with Kelsey. The surgery went well. The pain was under control, and honestly, without Kelsey and covering, it would have been much harder. Thank you.

When I was with my fiancé in the hospital, Kelsey stood out from the other nurses, not that they weren't very good too, but just not the same as Kelsey. I'm sure you have experienced similar situations where you notice how hard someone works. That's her. Kelsey not only works hard, she's the whole package. Kind, caring, knows her job. She takes extra time to make you feel you're in a good place. It's not just with my fiancé. I've seen her. She's like that with all her patients. Just that up-and-beyond person. Hope you will think about Kelsey. I believe people who do that much and make patient, family, and friends deserve a pat on the back or, in other words, this.
