Kelsey has worked tirelessly this year to the tremendous benefit of those she takes care of. Her work as a primary RN to some of our Long Length of Stay Patients has made a great difference in their care and has really spoken to her honest, caring nature.
When we were looking at the qualities and actions of a DAISY Nurse, Kelsey checked all of the boxes. Her fellow nurses see her at the bedside, taking the time to listen to her patients' needs and going the extra mile to make sure that they are the most comfortable they can be. She has a way of humanizing the experience, treating her patients as if they were members of her own family. She continually gets praise from her co-workers, patients, and their families for her outstanding, personalized care.
Another way that Kelsey really stands out is her way of seeking out opportunities to improve her patients' experiences. She is a true advocate for their well-being, comfort, and mental health. She has a great amount of patience and provides care that is solely focused and dedicated to her patients' needs.
