I would like to start off by saying that I have never met a more kind and thoughtful person than Kelsey. She lights up a room with her infectious smile, even if she is having a bad day. She truly cares about her patients and it shows in her patient interactions. There was once a very sick patient on the floor. The patient had no visitors or family. Kelsey brought the patient slippers and spent extra time in the room, holding the patient's hand and keeping her company, which made the patient very happy. The patient ended up passing away, and Kelsey acted as though she had lost a member of her own family. She is truly a compassionate nurse and inspires me to try my best every day. She is also a team player. She never hesitates to lend a helping hand (always with a smile) and will even stay a little late to make sure the job is done properly. I have never heard her complain, no matter how hard the assignment. I wish there were more people like Kelsey in the world.
