Keshia was attentive, informative, comforting, and so sweet to my mom.
Keshia provided her patient with compassionate, connected care and made a wonderful personal connection with her patient. We are so proud of you Keshia and happy to have you as part of our Southern Hills Family! We appreciate you raising the bar and caring like family! Please see Keshia's winning nomination from her patient's daughter:
My 81-year-old mother was a patient in the CCU because of complications from a lung biopsy. She was scared, as was our family, and in so much pain. Keshia came into the room and immediately the room lit up. She was there to comfort mom during the chest tube procedure. She made my mom feel important as if she was her only patient. She was happy and she made my mom feel safe, which eased my mind when I couldn't be with her myself.
Keshia was attentive, informative, comforting, and so sweet to my mom. Although we only got to have her for one day, she made a world of difference in my mom's experience and mine. It felt like Keshia would do this job without pay, she just seems to be so willing and happy to be there, not only to help my mom but to help me as well. Keshia is the kind of nurse and person that makes the world a much better place.
Thank you, Keshia!
