Kia is one of the most compassionate people I know. She truly loves her job and those she cares for. She strives for the best outcome for each patient. Kia is a positive influence on staff. Even if you come to work not so perky, she is quick to put a smile on your face or give you're a pat on the back. I also don't know very many people who are as committed to the professional practice of nursing as Kia. She is professional and always willing to come in for work on committees and just to help out in the department.

Kia is so involved with infection control and the many different diseases that children have. She has a way to calm families when it seems the nothing else is working for their child. She is so full of knowledge. Whenever you have a question about anything, she can give you an answer right away. Kia always has a smile and gets along well with everyone, even if she is having a bad day. Kia has taught me how to be patient when things go wrong and has taught us all good things. Kia knows so much about asthma, RSV, pneumonia and other childhood diseases. She is a wonderful person.
