Kim Bishop was very instrumental in helping a new mom with a complicated birth. The mom had already lost 6 pregnancies and was now presenting at 32 weeks and bleeding. Kim immediately saw and understood what this patient needed. She was calm yet stern with the patient to keep her focused on the successful outcome of this delivery. Her calm and persistent nature was a comfort for this patient. The birth was a successful c-section and this patient is the proud mother of a healthy baby boy. Kim was very attentive in ensuring the mom and family had all that they needed. She answered all their questions and greeted visitors with smiles and tenderness. This patient feels that without Kim's assertiveness and her knowledge they would not be celebrating her sons first birthday.
