I have ALS and every two weeks I have a daily infusion Monday through Friday. I have been receiving treatment in Sioux Falls, SD and was traveling to Lubbock to see my son and his wife because they just had twins. It was extremely important that we stay in Lubbock for the next few months. I contacted San Antonio where I had started infusions. Two months ago, I gave our travel coordinator our itinerary so that I can receive infusions in Lubbock.
When I was traveling to Lubbock, I kept getting calls from San Antonio who were trying to coordinate my infusions with Lubbock. It seemed they wanted me to get my treatment in San Antonio which was not feasible due to my stay in Lubbock. I reached out to Kim and she took the ball, and in 3 days had my infusions coordinated in Lubbock. Kim got accomplished in 3 days what San Antonio was having trouble coordinating. She did great for me. This was above and beyond my expectations.
