Anyone who has ever worked in healthcare knows how important it is to advocate for patients. You push to ensure they receive the same level of care you would want your friends or family to receive. Kim is always an amazing patient advocate. We recently had a patient losing a significant amount of blood. Kim spent the majority of her 12-hour shift fighting for this patient to have the care she deserved, essentially saving her life. This can be painful and exhausting, but Kim had the strength to keep pushing because that is what she does. She is incredibly caring and intelligent and should be recognized for these qualities. I am a better person and provider thanks to working with her.

I came to OB with high blood pressure and full term with my son and had this wonderful nurse named Kim. She was with me the whole way and it was bumpy between high blood pressure and then ending up having a C-section that followed with a D&C due to blood clots in my uterus. I had this amazing nurse making me comfortable and helping any way she could. She would always check in and made me and my family and baby never need anything.
