Kirby Allmond has a caring and compassionate attitude for every patient but in this instance for a very sick patient with very concerned family members. Kirby was a part of this patient's care for multiple shifts but the last shift is what stood out during her last few hours alive. Kirby had a busy schedule but took the time to physically be with the patient and her family while withdrawing care. He also printed a cardiac rhythm strip prior to her passing and inserted it into a glass container along with a bible verse and presented it to the family as a keepsake. They were very appreciative and thought the gesture was extremely kind.
