Her timing was a blessing, and she was so instrumental in making sure the AED machine was used and that CPR was administered properly.
I am the principal at a local High School, and I wanted to commend one of your nurses, Kirsten Eddy. We had a Sunday musical performance, and Ms. Eddy was attending as a guest. When she walked into the auditorium foyer, she saw that a man was on the ground receiving CPR. I realize that it is her job to save a life at a hospital, but she was absolutely amazing in leading the group of good people administering CPR at the school. Her timing was a blessing, and she was so instrumental in making sure the AED machine was used and that CPR was administered properly. Without her, I don't know that the AED machine would have been used and properly attached prior to the EMTs' arrival. She was also so helpful in making sure the chest compressions were done correctly. Again, it was without any hesitation that Kirsten stepped in and advised people that she was a nurse and provided assistance. She saved a life.
