My 86 year old mother had been in and out of the hospital for several weeks. Kody was the first nurse to look at her back and check for pressure sores and the first to turn her. He made a special effort to not only take care of my mother but also take care of the entire family. He always asked if we needed anything. He made sure the family was aware of doctor visits, new orders, and changes in treatment. If we were not present during a doctor or NP visit, he made sure that we got a report, we didn't even have to ask.

Kody was such a wonderful advocate for the family and a great example of what a nurse should be. My stepdad was confused about which room my mother was in, and Kody made a special effort to walk him to the correct room every time he saw him, he didn't embarrass my stepdad he just walked with him while visiting. Kody has given me hope that we still do have nurses who care, who have compassion, and who are in the right profession. I appreciate Kody's attentiveness, his compassion, and great attitude.
