Krista was so good at reassuring us that were supporting all our children adequately.
We are happy to share our experience with nurse Krista Albert and the reasons we believe she is an extraordinary nurse. Out twins were born 5 weeks early so they needed a little more time to grow before we could take them home. Ultimately, this meant a total of 23 days in the NICU. Every single nurse we met was wonderful, but Krista really stood out. Her calm demeanor during what was a very uncertain time for us was encouraging. Krista never seemed stress or overwhelmed, and always made us feel as through our babies were her only patients. We had a toddler at home and the support we had arranged for him during his sibling's birth changed due to COVID stipulations. Krista was so good at reassuring us that were supporting all our children adequately. We felt true comfort during the times we left the NICU knowing the babies were in her care. She knew their personalities so well in such a short time, which we felt was only possible due to her attentiveness and genuine care for her patients. Krista even developed her own little nicknames for the twins. There was never a doubt in our minds that she genuinely cared for them and their wellbeing. She was also very in-tuned with how we were doing and frequently reminded us to rest and be well. Krista is just the person we needed during such an uncharted time in our lives. We will always look back on our NICU experience with fond memories of her.
