There are no words to accurately convey the quality of care and compassion Kristen demonstrated during my stay on the unit. My water broke unexpectedly at 32 weeks of pregnancy and it was terrifying to say the least.
From the first moment of arrival, she expertly handled my difficult veins starting an IV where I asked after 6 previous attempts were unsuccessful. She took her time to answer all my questions every day and calm my frazzled nerves.
I was put on 2 weeks of bed rest and she was assigned to be my RN every time she was here. She advocated for me with the physicians, going above and beyond to make me feel "human" again by taking me for short trips outside, getting me a recliner, and bringing me coffee and treats. She truly went above and beyond. I have such a special place in my heart for her and she is just an exceptional RN and person!
