I was scared and crying again, and even while she was down there guiding me to push, she talked me through my worries.
She was an amazing nurse and took such good care of me. She helped calm me down when I went into labor early and had to have a section. She was with me every step of the way and continued to check on me throughout my hospital stay. She is an amazing nurse and truly loves what she does.

She was the day shift nurse for labor and delivery. She started by holding and comforting me for an epidural that took 2x to place correctly. It was painful, and I was crying and shaking. She talked me through it, helped me breathe, and held my arms. Afterward, she made sure someone got me something to wipe my tears. My baby dropped suddenly, and his heart rate dipped. I kept hearing the nurses say something about an “anterior lip.” She was calm and steady, but I could see the concern and urgency on her face and the other nurses' faces. Although they were calling the Dr to get her ASAP, I could tell that if the doctor didn’t make it in time, I would be fine because she had me and the situation under control. I was scared and crying again, and even while she was down there guiding me to push, she talked me through my worries. When it was time for her to leave, she came to tell me goodbye.

Although all of these things are something that most nurses would do, her energy, her heart, and her ability to make me feel comfortable in difficult situations were like none other. She is doing exactly what she has been called to do on this earth. She is an angel, and I will always remember how she made me feel on such a special and sort of scary day!
