Kristin is a great Nursing role model. She is friendly, compassionate, generous, and ambitious.
Kristin exemplifies extraordinary behavior by having a positive attitude day in and day out. She is always addressing all caregivers individually and asking them how things are going and if there is anything she can do to make the work environment better. This behavior creates a healthy and happy work environment. She is always available to discuss any issues that arise on the unit and is flexible with caregivers. I believe that her flexibility positively promotes a healthy work-life balance.
Kristin creates a great work environment by showing mutual respect for all caregivers and for always having an open-door policy to come to her with any issues or concerns. She cares about the growth of each caregiver and is willing to do whatever she can to help her employees reach their professional goals. She is a great resource within the organization and encourages all caregivers to get involved with all of the great opportunities Advocate Aurora has to offer.
Kristin motivates staff members by sharing progress and scores on how our unit is performing. When we are not excelling in a certain area, she turns to the staff to help think of ideas on how to improve. She is always open to hearing new ideas and motivates all staff members to contribute to bettering our unit and improving the quality of care we provide.

Kristin sits on the Nursing Coordinating council at ASLMC and is involved in the Greater Milwaukee chapter of Critical Care Nurses-- just to name a few. She promotes philanthropy and organizes many volunteer events for our unit to get involved in. Giving back to the community is something Kristin is very passionate about and is always encouraged the staff to help where help is needed.
I am happy to have her as a manager and as a nursing leader here at ASLMC.
