I have been thinking about you and the amazingly kind, compassionate and thoughtful care you gave our family when L and D were admitted from a plane from Brazil landing in Detroit bound for Chicago. The care you gave them during their unexpected turn of events on the way home from a 3-week cruise in South America was exceptional.
Having L and D get to share a room was a real treat for both of them and they adored everyone they met on the fifth floor and subsequently in the ICU toward the end of their stay. They arrived knowing not a single soul and L left feeling loved and cared for and had gained a whole new adopted family! Thank you to one and all for your excellent care, for going the extra mile, including you taking D's clothes home to wash so he'd have clean clothes to travel home in when it looked like they'd be leaving for Chicago. Thank you for the hugs and great support from admissions, and the time on the 5th floor before he went into ICU, during the time he spent in there and after he passed away. Everyone from the nursing staff, the housekeeping staff, the cafeteria staff, the front desk and the gift shop was so warm and thoughtful. What an incredible community you have at Beaumont. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
