Kristine is a very sweet and caring nurse. She would regularly come to my room to check in on me and make sure I was doing ok. Kristine took the time to listen to my fears and concerns. She reassured me I was getting better and she really helped ease my nerves. You can really tell she loves her job and cares about her patients. She made me feel safe and taken care of.

Kristine is a caring nurse and a strong patient advocate. She has an effective and special way of communicating with her patients and families, building a trust that allows them to know that they are in good hands. Kristine is also beyond thoughtful. She always checks patients' birthdates to make "Happy Birthday" signs for them and sings them a birthday song. She takes the time to create colorful signs that will make our patients smile. She makes these signs not only for awake patients but also for intubated patients, hoping once extubated they will see the sign and know how much the nursing staff are thinking about them while they were getting better. She is always making sure her patients are comfortable and have everything they need to feel safe and cared for.
