Kris had a progressive patient recently who had some respiratory issues after being transferred from the ICU. He remained composed and in close contact with the MDs about the patient's status. When the patient began to deteriorate further, a rapid response was called and Kris continued to stay by the patient's side and perform various nursing interventions to support the patient's respiratory status until the rapid response team arrived. Kris handled the situation with such grace and remained cool, calm, and collected, even as the patient's status declined. Kris is such a wonderful nurse and it has been a joy working with him from the time he started as a CCA! He is always willing to help you when you need it and appreciative when you return the favor!
