Our daughter was admitted to the CICU immediately after birth and Kyanna was our nurse for the first three nights of her life.
Kyanna went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to make our time you're your daughter special. She encouraged us to help her take care of our daughter when possible, made sure she always had lullabies playing, and even surprised us by taking her footprints and decorating her room when we were out for dinner one night.
Although she wasn't assigned to our daughter's room again, Kyanna stopped by to check on us several times after that, including coming to say goodbye when we were transitioning to comfort care.
We will always remember her positive attitude and energy and the impact she has had on our family.
